Travel a few blocks south of Montgomery’s downtown to find the
brick paved streets of Old Cloverdale. Billed as “Mayberry and Atlanta”, this
historic district will charm you with its huge magnolias and porch swings.
Electing its own mayor and ten representatives, the governing
association of Old Cloverdale is dedicated to preserve the integrity of the
architecture and the lifestyle of this protected historic district. And if you
were to attend an association meeting, you would frequently hear the name
Aspinwall and Associates as one of the highest regarded remodelers of the
neighborhood. Not only has John Aspinwall worked on many of the representatives
homes, but he is also an association member.
